2008/9 – MAIN WATER
CHARGES : A BRIEF SUMMARY
The following Charges, which exclude any VAT payable, will
come into effect on 1 April 2008 and operate for the twelve months to 31 March
2009 in accordance with the terms of the Company’s 2008/9 Charges
Scheme.

UNMEASURED
SUPPLIES
Standard Charge of £123.47 per annum.
The Standard Charge will be payable on 1 April 2008 but an
Occupier may choose to pay by 2, 10, 22 or 44 instalments during the year. Details available on request.
MEASURED HOUSEHOLD
SUPPLIES
A Consumption Charge plus an Annual Standing Charge will be
payable.

Assessed Charges
An annual charge will be payable only where a domestic customer
has requested a free meter option but this has been refused by the water
supplier on the grounds of impracticality or unreasonable cost. This charge will be based on the Company’s
assessment of the likely consumption at the premises having regard to the
circumstances of each case and using the Company’s consumption data and
anticipated occupancy.
