Aquacare Plus is an additional alternative to the tariff offered under the WaterSure scheme which might benefit certain metered customers.
The AquaCare Plus tariff offers a higher standing charge but a lower charge per cubic metre than standard charges. This will benefit customers who use more than 75 cubic metres of water a year and are in receipt of one of the following benefits:
- Council tax benefit
- Housing benefit
- Income support
- Income-based
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Working tax credit
- Child tax credit (except families in receipt of the family element only)
- State pension credit.
The tariff offers a higher standing charge but a lower charge per cubic metre.
