Hartlepool Water own some important assets including three reservoir sites within 5 miles of Hartlepool town.

Hartlepool Water is conscious of the need to protect the tranquillity and rich natural habitats that Crookfoot, Hurworth Burn and Hart reservoirs offer, we allow Hartlepool and District Angling Club (HADAC) to fish at these sites together with another private fishing club.

Seasoned stocks of trout and coarse fish are popular with the anglers together with the wonderful setting so close to the coast.

If you wish to fish at any of your sites, then please contact HADAC. Details are available at your local Library or your nearest fishing equipment stockist.

We grant access to our reservoir sites for local bird watching clubs to observe these havens so favoured by migratory birds on their long trips South. Regular bird counts are carried out to inform the national surveys across the UK. If you wish to take part in birdwatching on our sites, you need to be a member of a local club. More details are available from your local library.

For further information please contact us.
